Restaurant Cooper & Cecile

Cooper & Cecile

1945, the liberation of Amsterdam. The Canadian Cooper meets the elegant Dutch Cecile. Even though there was little available, they tried to make every meal a celebration. The organisation came from Cecile, who was completely absorbed in the details. Cooper, on the other hand, had a real passion for rustic cooking. In his home country, he spent his ideal day off hunting, fishing, and preparing his catches on charcoal. Now, the goal was to put a nutritious and fantastic meal on the table with little food. Cecile searched for hours for the perfect decoration and the right ambience. Together, they ensured that everyone present had the evening of their lives.

TRIBUTE

Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre Amsterdam pays tribute to Cooper & Cecile, who already knew the ingredients for an evening full of fun and a good meal.

THE GUMBALL FACTORY

The restaurant, located on the site of the old chewing gum factory, originally founded as a tribute to the Canadian liberators, now provides the characteristic atmosphere of Cooper and Cecile.
